Hi folks, thank you for taking the time to visit my website and your interest in our manatee tours. My associates and myself are eager to bring you a once in a lifetime experience, a close encounter with a gentle giant, the West Indian manatee.
We offer three
(3) separate locations on the water to provide you with a
choice in your manatee experience. We offer the Remarkable Manatee Tour in which we use a Coast Guard Certified 48 passenger boat on the Crystal River. We only allow a maximum of 20 swimmers in the water
with another 20 passengers observing.
We also have our
Ultimate Manatee
Tour with is limited to 2 - 6 passengers and contains
many amenities. This tour is also conduced on the Crystal
River.
Our Manatee Swim Tour is designed to ensure comfort for our passengers and the tranquility of the manatees
since we only schedule up to 15 persons on our 24 passenger tour boat in the Homosassa Springs.
We believe our personal experience and our love for the preservation of this wonderful species sets us apart from other tour companies. We take our time, you will never feel rushed.
Our manatee tours are conducted in the Crystal River (year around) and Homosassa River (Nov-Apr) areas on the beautiful nature coast of West Central Florida. We are conveniently located 70 miles north of Tampa and 80 miles west of Orlando. Our area has the largest concentration of manatees in the world.
Manatee
harassment is NOT tolerated on our tours. If your captain
observes you riding, poking, prodding, disturbing, or
chasing a manatee at any time, you will be asked to leave
the water. This will ensure that:
1. Everyone will have a better interaction.
2. Future generations will have this experience.
3. This gentle, curious species will not become fearful of
humans.
4. You are not assessed huge fines by the Fish & Wildlife
Commission.
